I regularly get asked if I know of a good alternative to Photoshop. Something that is easier to learn and not so expensive? And the answer is yes!

For most people, everything they would ever want to do with Photoshop can be done simpler and easier with a free application called PhotoFiltre. I use it everyday and consider it one of my most essential graphics applications.

They have some excellent free beginners tutorials also, which I would highly recommend taking the time to go through the first few to get the basics.
